SERVING THOSE WHO SERVED US

We are here to serve those that served us. Serving can come at a personal cost and we are here to support those that protected us. While we can never pay back the debt they have given to our country, we can work together to improve their quality of life.

HOW WE CAN HELP

We provide support through counseling, resources for the homeless, creating grants, and more!

CAUSE STATEMENT

On April 1, 2020, just like every day that passes, approximately 2,191 people worldwide took their own life. Suicide is a serious global public health issue. It is among the top 20 leading causes of death worldwide and second leading cause of death for ages 10-34 in the United States of America.

However, on this day, one particular life was lost that impacted us in a way that we never could have imagined: our son, Blake Daniel Foulk. Blake was just one of 2,191 people that day, but it spurred in us a need to make sure that no one ever experienced the kind of loss that we did.

Blake suffered in silence in a way that we at the BDF Project hope to end. We hope to raise money to end the suffering of everyone with mental health issues, but especially those who dedicated their lives to making ours safer: our law enforcement officers, veterans, and first responders.

Suicidal thoughts, PTSD, drug and alcohol abuse, mental health, and depression are just some things that these people who lay their lives down every day suffer with while they are serving, but also when they come home.

These are our warriors that we are dedicated to protecting, at home and abroad.

LISTEN TO “MEMORIES OF YOU”

Written by Rick Reno Stevens and Sean Randel

As a songwriter, you write from inspiration or experiences that you have either lived or someone else has lived.

This song was all the above.

Suffering the loss of a loved one in any way they leave this earth is hard to deal with. My hope is that the lyrics to this song will give you peace and joy, knowing that they are not really gone but waiting for you, until then, “let their memories live through you.”

It is an honor for me to share this song with this organization and be a small part of what we hope will reach millions.
